Process & Capabilities

How a project comes together

A flexible, low-friction process built around getting you to useful learning quickly.

1

Project Inquiry

Contact me via email or mobile phone and we'll have a conversation about what your needs might be. You do not need to have all of your innovation ducks in a row at this point. I know what questions to ask and together we'll determine what might be the best approach for your project.

Details & Ballpark Estimate

I've worked on many brands and quite a few different approaches. The number of ideas in your project could be anywhere from 1 or 2 images to 30 or more. Here are some examples of the types of executions I've worked on: A) Conceptual 3D package designs that bring your ideas to life without the expense of a full-service agency for innovation testing. B) Working with existing package designs to test line extensions or package claims. C) Front-panel-only designs with all the variables you want to test internally or with consumer groups. D) Color product-only images created in Adobe Photoshop, with or without AI. E) Hand-rendered images in black and white or color of a product only, or a package structure idea.

The Brief

The process starts with a brief containing the information we'll need for a project kickoff. I often do not need this to be finalized to get started — we can set up a video chat and discuss the general details of what we'll be creating. I typically work from a brief for each idea. Here is an example of a brief. I can also provide examples of other ways I have received information in addition to this example.
